during track practice i was sprinting to long jump then i felt my groin tightening so i decided to stop immediately because i think i would pull it. so is this normal and what should i do to help make it better? is it a lack of potassium or water? what should i do. btw we have a meet next week.

I'm in a high school track team and I always run the 200 and 400 meters. My time for the 200m is like 27.9 and for the 400 it's around 63 seconds. How can I go faster?
