im looking to get rid of some movies and music. i looking for places in the Chicago area. im wondering if id be more successful at reckless records, disc replay, half priced books, books a million, eBay, amazon, or a garage sale.

I have a bunch of old homemade VHS tapes that I want to convert to DVD and a format to use on the computer. Are there any good, cheap converter out there? I mean a converter where you put in the actual VHS tape and it converts straight to a blank DVD disc?

Im converting old VHS Tapes to DVD via a Philips combi unit. After burning them, I tested them they worked fine on the unit.
I put the disk in my pc to burn the new DVD onto my pc and it is saying its a CDA file. I googled it and its a audio file so i looked for a CDA...
I have a Samsung DVD and VCR player and I have no trouble playing DVDs but when I got ot put a VHS in, it won't show up on the screen. Does it need to be on a specific channel, different than the DVD, to play? Please help. :)
I have a lot of UK recorded VCR tapes which I want to convert to North American DVD's. Has anyone used Roxio Easy VHS to DVD converter before and what was the quality of the output.
I only found out about this product after an internet search and want to know a bit more before committing $60
I got the Easy VHS to DVD Capture and Toast 9 Basic programs for mac from the roxio website. My question is can I buy the $59.99 one for windows from BestBuy instead of the $79.99 for mac and just use the windows one on my macbook?
