now i have been experiencing this tranny problem for my 08 sentra (@ 75000km) for about 2 months.
my car lost some acceleration + responsiveness when i take the car off from the stop.
these nissan CVT usually goes up to 2000rpm until about 15~20km/h, then eventually decreases as speed increases.
but my rpm goes more higher than before, and stays there longer and drops down to 1500 rpm at constant speed of 60km/h. (it used to be around 1100~1200rpm before)
my local nissan dealer charged me 110 bucks for tranny diagnostic test and stuff, even they ended up with nothing. but my mechanic says it is the tranny that lacks the acceleration w/ slow responce and unnecessary rpm. and that was after he checked if there is other causes.
yes i can get money back if it is tranny prob. since i still have pwrtrain war. until 10 000 km mileage, but i'm afraid if they cannot fix it right, and just charging me money.
have any idea? especially nissan owners with CVT on it.
