am getting a new bike , will be useing it for smallish jumps and rideing up steep hills and going fast around the lanes. would a 125 pit bike be suitable. if so what would be best between ,http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-1031632103/570a0d28.html or http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-1031692094/07cd64cf.html

yes, its suitable BUT at that age you may still be growing, and the bike may get smaller to you, personally i would go for a used kx/yz/cr 100 or 125, possibly 250 from craigslist. I am 15 1/2, i got an 01 cr250r, im 6 ft tall, i am just tall enough to reach the ground while sitting on the bike. but if you are getting it just to enjoy riding around, no serious jumps or riding its ok to get the pit bike.Thats just my opinion though, hoped that helped!

Either bike would be fine if you don't want to push it. You can play ride them, but I doubt if either bike will hold up for very long if really ode hard. I question the reliability of those "pit bikes" compared to a Honda or Yamaha. If you want to ride the bike hard, get a real motocrosser.

Plenty of power in a 125, but don't buy a piece of junk. Many of the China made models are trash. I have found out personally that the brand "Coolster" is definitely quality. They are the company that made all engine parts for Honda until the patent ran out, so they started making their own bikes.
