1960 mercedes 190SL, where was it made?

For my school project i have to find out the brand of my parents car and find out where it was made, this was made in germany right? i just want to make sure, ty

Yes. I have done a full mechanical restoration on one of these. Marilyn Monroe had one. I would just love to restore another one!!!! The side-draft Webber carbs are a little tricky. The 190 refers to the engine size, 1.9 liters. The steering wheel is made form REAL ivory, and so is the stick shift.
