If you put a K/N cold air filter from Auto Zone it will increase your gas mileage and add about 2-3 more horespower to your car. It will also help the engine if anything but will not hurt it.
it wil only make it better if you change it either way dirty and old is bad new and clean good be it high flow or stock they dont sell any parts fro a car that wil do damage to the car
