Use 500 miles more? Will buy another car within next 30 days while using current car for 500 miles. Would like to avoid repair costs. Is it dangerous to continue driving current car. Breakdown risk?

Could just be just the tire but could also be a bearing,Jack
it up and spin by hand, listen for grinding noise in bearings,
watch for the runout(roundness) of the tire it will have a bump
on it if it is seperating, check the tread for abnormal wear or
steel showing, abnormal wear could be alignment problems
or worn parts it the steering system, all of these should be fixed
right away to prevent an accident !

The louder it gets the worse off you are, dpending on how long this has been going on for is for how long more you can drive it for.But there is a break own risk to it if your hub blows then your shit out of luck and will have to call a tow truck, if you know a local mechanic they should be able to do it for now that much. Wheel berrings run from 10 to 20 dollars depending on if they are hubbed or open. I would fix it, one for the resale value and for the saftey of you in the veichal.
