97 318i bmw ignition problem? the car will not turn off. even with key out of

ignition. key can do 360 when in? The car can be in park, drive, reverse..it wil not stop running. The key can be in or out. It won't stop running!! What is the problem?

Knackered ignition barrel switch. GSF don't do them. BMW dealer only! Expensive, I would guess.
