98 Honda Accord Auto Transmission Hard shifting?

When my car shifts from 1st to 2nd, the car shakes. The shake is progressively getting worse. Now it's starting to shake when the car shifts to to 3rd. A lot of times when I'm speeding up, the rpms will go up, but there would be a delay in the speedometer. Is this a call for a new transmission or is it something that is repairable?
