...to accept the collect call? I have a friend in jail, and he's been calling my cellphone. Its a samsung, and i have at&t. He's been calling, and i answered, but it says i can't accept the collect call. And then it asks if i would like to put money on it or something and asks to have a visa by my side, etc etc all that crap...

Can inmates only call landlines? Can i use my cell, or i cant?
How can i talk to him? is there any way i can contact him?
how does the mailing process work?

What are my options?

please, he's my best friend. And, im in love with him. I miss him so much, i just want to know how i can speak with him....

Get him a phone card through the jails commissary. That should allow him to call your cell. Some jails require them to have an account.
