I am in to directing, editing, producing, etc. many films and have decided to sell them. So I need to put them on dvd, but I want to do this myself and not send it to any company that will do it for me. I want to make it have a main menu, that has a picture I upload in the background, with options on the bottom, Play movie, Scenes/chapters, and bonus features. I want the bonus features to be separate from the film, completely different video, basically like not played after the movie, but the viewer needs to go to the special features menu and there will be a LIST of special features. For the chapters, I'm probably gonna need to make each chapter a different video beforehand, which I'm ok with.

Here are the programs i tried and failed so don't give these as options: Roxio Toast Titanium 11, aimersoft dvd creator, dvd styler.

Also just a heads up, i want the chapters menu to have a thumbnail for each chapter, and the special features as a list of the features with no thumbnail.

P.S. i don't care if i have to buy it, just give me a tip on anything.

Have you tried iMovie and iDVD? Both come with your Mac and and work well with each other.

You can create and edit your movies in iMovie and then burn your discs using iDVD.

Both have lots of features.

If you need more than they offer, you could try 'Final Cut Pro' another application designed specifically for your Mac.

Check it out at the app store.
