im a atheist teen. if i was your kid would you have a problem with that.

i am a christian.

if you were my kid, you would NEVER be an atheist.
you would hv been taught from birth about God.

however, if you turn atheist out of rebellion or whatever,
i would disown you, disinherit you, cut you off ... completely from the family.

rebels are not welcomed.

Yes, I would, I have taught my kids alot better than that in why the Bible is reliable and introduced them to the writings of former atheists like C.S. Lewis, Josh McDowell and Lee Strobel and besides they are smarter than to believe alot of the nonsense in the world. I've taught them to investigate the evidence and the sources and if they accepted atheism I would be rather disappointed because most atheists have never looked at the evidence.

Actually I find most don't want to look and you see it in the writings of atheists like Aldous Huxley and others that it is that they don't want there to be a God because it would interfere with the way they wanted to live.

So what is it you are basing your faith in atheism in..... the evidence (have you honestly looked?) or is it the wish that you are unaccountable to God and want to live your own way?

Yes, I would. As a Christian mother of many children I raised them to make the right choices, and that includes choosing God to be in their lives. I had children because I believe in God and an eternal life, otherwise, I never would have children. Why bring children into the world to suffer the results of their birth if there was no chance of life after death?

You say you are an atheist teen and my prayers go out for you and others like you. Being so young, you have not yet experienced the joy and peace that a Christian life can bring. I hope you will do some soul searching and give faith a chance. You will be amazed at the difference it will make in all the decisions you make, your choice of friends, your relationship with family and your overall outlook on life.

My life has not been trouble-free, but I have been able to cope with my problems and heartaches because of my faith. Just give your life to God and watch the transformation He makes in your life. It all boils down to the right choices.

nope... according to Islam, there is no compulsion in Religion. ...Quran [2:256]

(however, as your father, i would try my best to save you from going to Hell...i.e without forcing)

If your parents were Muslim, they may have to kill you.

If your parents were Christians - not just church attenders, but true Christians - they would continue loving you no matter what, but because they pay for everything for you, providing you with a home, food, clothing, shelter, and every thing else, they would expect you to obey them and go to church with them on Sunday morning, and go to school during the week, and actually study to make good grades. And I do NOT think that this is abusive!

I do NOT think that a wise parent waits until the child is 18 to decide if the child want to start going to school, or learning obedience or respect or morals or any of the Biblical principles such as forgiveness, mercy and compassion towards others!
