When all these things keep telling people its nearing the end of something as we know it and they always centred around doom. How would they know its not the beginning of something better?

Those religious nutcases believe in the Mayan calendar that ends in 2012. They claim to be Christians and hijacked the Republican party but they really are nothing but pagans.

It is the beginnning of something much much better! When Jesus returns for His people, we will all join Him in Heaven. So see, the "end" as we call it, is really just the beginning, for everyone. It will be the beginning of Heaven for some, the beginning of Hell for others, your choice. Heres praying you make the right choice. God bless

Anything that would upset the balance of power is going to be projected as a bad thing, whether it be by religious leaders or political ones. The rest of us probably wouldn't even notice the difference.
