one advice. dont do it on your own!!!!
you could get an infection.. and you will regret and it would only leave an ugly scar
the last friend that tried it alone.. it was quite painfully and it got all infected..
just go to a professional piercer
its really not hard at all. go to hot topic and buy a size 14. make sure you clean it good with rubbing alchohal first, nad then shove it in. IT WILL BURN.A wait between 3-4 weeks(depending on how well its healing) then go to a 10, do the same process and go to an 8, nad so on. im not sure how big you want, but liek size of around a pencil eraser is a size 2, which is what im guessing you want around
Just make sure to take your time so you don't blow anything out. Also don't force a double flared gauge in because it can get stuck in your ear and can be painful to get it back out, if it hurts going in then you've gone up to fast. Usually with double flares you need to get them a size smaller than what your taper is because otherwise it usually will get stuck. It does take a bit of time to get up to a good size.
a gauge is the size.
A regular earring size (when ears are pierced.) is a 20 or 18g. The bigger the number, the smaller the earring.
if you just got your ears pierced wait until theyre healed, and then get a 12g.
