How do the changing social impacts of gender, education, science, & technology affect religion? & Indigenous ways?

Some religions submit to the changes in doctrine and morality of a dominant regime or culture and others prefer martyrdom to compromise

Others(even in the same religion as those above) seek to find" a broadening of the mind" as Aquinas did with Aristotleanism

and many Christians did in Islamic cultures or some "Nestorian" Eastern Christians did in Central and

Far E

ast Asia or St John Da Nobili did in India or Matteo Ricci did in China

Many adapted indigenous customs to the dominant intrusive culture as with "folk survivals" in Latin America and Buddhist Tibet and Mongolia

When writing we are often told to talk about our own experiences and this is what I'm doing. I'm not overly religious and perhaps not the greatest christian in the world. I do not like to hear God slagged off, with so much unknown in the world there are many possibilities and I feel it is about respect but it seems some people have no belief anymore, there isnt even a maybe! not in all cases of course but some have changed and become less tolerant and kind in their new views. The big bang! theory is only that at best! we do not have proof and unless u were there do not talk to me about no God or spiritual presence, we have on one hand those that rebel from their parents being too pushy and those that simply move on from different beliefs when their current one does not satisfy their needs. I have no definite answers but at least my mind is open
