I have a Toshiba laptop , running on Vista which is connected to a wireless router/modem and has been working fine for about six months, today it just stopped working.
It connects to the modem but will only display a local connection. I have tried resetting the modem and also setting up a new connection on the pc.
My housemates have both a mac and a pc and their connection is working fine.
I have also tried un installing my wireless drivers and restarting the computer and letting it re install them automatically but to no avail.
I always update my system, is it possible that an update caused this?
Also my norton has all of a sudden decided that the advanced firewall is insecure? I then fix this but when i restart the computer is does it again?
