Hello! I have called USCIS and obviously did not receive any answers ...so I need your guys' wonderful advice again!
*My first question is about numbers 11 & 12 on the 129-F - My fiance currently works on a Cruise Ship that ports within the US, so I know that I should say YES to number 11...and Im thinking that for number 12 I should write 'Crewman for XXXX Ship* (Im confused because it says 'Fill ONLY if your fiance is with you in the US at the time of filing' -- he is in US but not WITH me) so whats your input on that one? --- Also, he doesnt have an i-94, but he does have an i-95 for working on the Ship...should I put that number instead of i-94? does this sound correct? If so, should I then include a copy of his 1-95?
*I know I have asked this one before but still havent received any concrete answers -- Should I put his home address as his current address even though he will be living on the Cruise Ship for 9 months?
*Lastly, I work two part time jobs which do add up to more than the needed $18,xxx/year --- the question is: Does the fact that they are both 'part time' and I am not actually 'guaranteed' a certain amount of hours have any affect on the outcome, even though I will make enough?
As always, any thoughts, opinions, or advice is always appreciated!
Thanks!
I live in Minnesota & his ship ports along the East Coast..I have obviously looked into the Cr-1 visa as well but I cant take time off work/afford to fly out there just to meet him for like two hours while he's in port to get married...Im here waiting for him so actually the k-1 will be faster for us because it will be done in 4-6 months from when I send the papers, versus the cr-1 which would be done in 6-8 months after we were married which would be in Feb (the next time i will see him)...I am more concerned about the time of being apart rather than the money! I do know about the benefits of the Cr-1, but the k-1 seems to work better for us at this point! thank you so much for your advice!
