Are GQ recordable DVD's any good?

I'm searching for some inexpensive Dual Layer DVD's for an upcoming project.

I found these at Fry's; they are by far the cheapest I've seen per DVD

I've heard GQ DVD's are garbage, but I was curious if anyone had any input.
