Are people too obsessed with gadgets they forget to live, should there be a health

warning? When i am at work instead of people talking to each other they talk to you while staring into their ipad or iphone. Also the other day went out for a meal and even the man who was serving my meal was glued to his iphone. Also instead of having sex and making babies couples bring the laptop/ipad into bed.
 
Don't own either... We have a pay as you go phone for emergency only therefore we hardly use it..Computer is the only "luxury" we actually have.. Life is too short to sit on puter all day or on a cell phone etc..I do not like to be bothered when I am out so I never carry the cell... I grew up without them therefore I don't need them...The kids of today do NOT know how to survive without any of these electronic gadgets... They would have never survived in my era...
 
It is another addiction. My car was hit while we were waiting at a stop light. The person behind me was texting and I was watch her. She denied it, said she was eating. lol. Thank God no damage to us or the vehicle. Also yes, I have seen people obsessively answer a text message interrupting an ongoing voice communication.

I think it is a matter of people prioritizing gadgets over being present in their physical environment. I'm not so sure they should come with health warnings.

Impaired driving should be better defined, however.
 
Well a company should disclose any hazards with their devices. That's common sense if something was dangerous of course it should not be released on a market. However, what people do is of their own business. But at work that's another story as you are an employee.
 
As a matter of public safety, I think it should be legal to shoot out the tires of anyone observed driving while texting.
 
answer is yes and it's freaking annoying people need to interact with each other I just deactivated my facebook and I feel like I don't have to rely on technology to interact with other people
