I recently called Rogers to get my iPhone fixed, they went through a series of troubleshooting steps.
One of the first questions he asked was that if i had a screen protector on my iPhone.. I answered no, but i had one right infront of me that i was ready to put on.
I asked him why he asks about the screen protector and he said that screen protectors do more harm than good for the iphone.
I didnt think this was right.. so i questioned him, but his reply was that over time the screen protector harms the whole phone. He said that the screen protector will interfere with the electrical currents that the iphone has going on because there is essentially a layer of plastic covering the screen where all the touch pad is. He also said that the screen protector is bad because when you touch the screen, youre touching a whole area because the screen protector is spread out over the whole screen..
Anyway.. My question is if is he correct with his analysis and are screen protectors bad for the iphone?
