Are there any free virus protection programs that you can download from the internet?

Computer is running slow. Got viruses out the wazoo. Norton is out of date. I'm broke. Is there something out there I can get for free that works good? Does any one have any suggestions?

Yea there are alot, but one you can trust is Avast. I have it, and i think its working. Just go to Avast.com, you can download it. it gives you a 60 day free trial, then you renew it for free and it gives you 12 months. i dont know why they do it that way, but its totally free.

AVG works the best i have found... however if you want i think advast can scan before you boot into your account... so that is a nice feature...
