Are there any video development places anymore, to move videos from a 8-mm DVD

to a regular size DVD? I have an old Sony DVD Handycam from 2001, and I recently made a video on it. I was going to use the ImageMixer program that came with it to move the video from the camcorder to my computer, and it didn't work, so I was wondering if there was somewhere I could go to get it 'developed', so to speak.
Preferably a place in Sacramento, CA.
