better chance at landing a role? I wanna be famous like the jewish actors and actresses on Disney channel coz they get hired more and i think i can follow the rules of judaism. im not sure what religion i am anyway,, and i think the Old Testament is far more interesting and realistic than Christianity.
maybe if i convert to judaism it could be a plus, so then i can be famous like ashley tisdale, ricky ullman, shia labouf and zac efron. they got a headstart for being jewish and the US jewish people dont even make 1% of the population.
also lots are scientologist so i think if i was i could get a headstart
 
No. I'm Jewish and a playwright and screenwriter. I've won awards, received good reviews, and never broke through to the big time.

Jewish control of Hollywood is a myth. That there are many Jews in the biz doesn't guarantee any particular Jew success. And being anti-Jewish, like Mel Gibson, doesn't hold anyone back, either.

Producers and casting directors, Jewish, Christian or other, are pragmatists. They'll go with whoever they think will bring them success at the box office.

PS the casting couch is a myth, too. People who try to sleep their way to the top, put out a lot, but still don't get cast. No casting director is giong to make explicit promises, "sleep with me and you'll get the part." They may imply it, in order to get sex, but they'll cover the tushes, so they can't be sued for sexual harassament, and still cast whoever they think is going to get them box office.
 
Well, you could always try being a porn star if being an actress doesn't work out. There's always work in the sex industry.

If you convert for an edge on your competitors, then it isn't really conversion, is it? You wouldn't actually believe any of it. If it's true, though, I wonder why they're hired more often...?
