I am looking for a new phone I like the motorola backflip which has motoblur and constantly gives you status updates and such..does anyone know if that deducts from your data plan since it is always on and updating
The backflip is wifi enabled so you can save on data by keeping the phone set to wifi but yes, if you're not in a wifi hot spot, the phone will use the 3g network to update and you will use data.
Have you read the reviews of the backflip? They're not especially good.
