very smug.? I had no idea it was illegal bsmt apt.Toilet overflows, stopped using it in May. She goes thru my stuff when I'm out. Eviction when I started paying by check. She says court doesn't care that apt is illegal, will evict just on basis of no lease & all she has to do is remove stove until I leave & apt is then no longer illegal, then she rents again later. Don't want to move, any suggestions?
