Best Option for Cell Phone Audio Over Car Stereo?

My old car had a tape player so I simply used one of those tape things we all used to use back in the day with portable cd players.

However, I have now purchased a 2005 Chevy Impala, which has no tape player. Right away I went out and bought an FM transmitter. Itrip auto universal plus, to be exact, to run the audio on my Droid incredible over car speaker system. If this had actually worked, I would have been very pleased since it also serves as a car charger for phone as well.

However, the audio on this transmitter is horrible. You have to constantly change the station and even at best it is usually annoying. Tons of static, distortion by about every single power line, etc. I have been looking at various solutions to get done what I want to get done and would love some input on how best to get music off my cell phone over car speakers.

1. I've looked at Jabra Bluetooth speaker that you hang on visor and advertises that it does what I want. However, it also uses FM transmitter technology. With the steep price I would be scared it will be just as bad quality transmission as the one I have now.

2. I can't seem to find out if my car (2005 Chevy Impala LS) has an aux in port. If it does than it would seem this would be the best solution to my problem. I desperately need some help and will appreciate any I get. Thanks in advance.
