Can I believe the bible prophecy which state about end of the world? I fear about this matter.

Since neither version of genesis is correct, what does that tell you about the validity of the rest?

If you watched the movie 2012 which is based of a very true legend yes. However when or where it will happen is unknown

Its all true, and we only have 5 billion more years before our sun expands into a red giant and scorches the Earth. Better put your affairs in order because time is short.

The world has some real problems, anthropogenic global warming being the worst and most important.

The Christian belief in an Apocalypse is perhaps the greatest barrier to solving this problem --- which could indeed be solved if we had the political will.

The Earth will be here for the next billion years.

If you take a literal view of the rest of the bible then yes, you probably should believe it. Most people who believe in the bible believe that this is how the universe will end. The majority of Christians believe that they do not know how and when the world will end, but there are a few people who believe that by doing random calculations they can estimate when the world will end.

This is not the forum for this question. If you want to debate theological issues, go to the Religion section. If you have a scientific question regarding astronomy (which this is not), then ask away.

Science forums aren't the place to talk religion. There is no evidence of the world ending.

Well, ..., you can definitely believe the Bible when it says the word is going to end, however, it attaches no date as to when the end will come. On this both science and the Bible agree: the world will end. It's certainly nice to know that the two are both in agreement with each other.

I believe in this and that we are in the end times but I don't think it should scare us but it should compel us or move us to be better people and to help others and live each day like it could be our last and the end is only the beginning of something much more beautiful than this life there will be a new heaven and new earth where there will be no need for churches cuz we will live with God and he will be with us like it was supposed to be in the beginning but store up treasures in heaven not treasures from this earth cuz you can't take earthly treasures with you when this all take place but your heavenly treasures will be right there waiting for us such as loved ones and personal and spiritual growth and all that good stuff. So therefore Jesus gave only one commandment before he left to go prepare this new place for us and that is to love others as he loves us:) I don't know about you but I think that's easy enough so don't be scared: ) its all for the greater good
