Blackberry: music plays out loud when i put in headphones?!?!?

Basically when i plug in my headphones in my blackberry 8900 the music plays out loud and not in the headphones. Its really annoying! Its weird, because like a week ago i plugged in my headphones and music did come out from my headphones!!
What is going on??? How can i fix this???
