Bluetooth chip for PS3 controller?

My Favorite controller is battery powered with a plug in adaptor on the ps3 which connects them both togethor, Ive lost the adapter that goes in the PS3 and am wondering if I can buy a chip I can put on the circuit boards of the controller to make it Bluetooth? The controller that I have isn't made by Sony.

No, the Bluetooth chip has to be specially built-in for it to work properly. The only thing you can do is find the adapter if possible or just get a new controller.
