bluetooth doesnt work on my sony vaio ns series... why not?

i try to connect to my phone but it can't find it. my phone is discoverable and i did everything the troubleshooting says. another thing is when i try to go to bluetooth settings, nothing happens when i click on it
please help me!

Maybe is silly, but laptops usually have button on keyboard to swtch bluetooth on/off.
You said that you troubleshooted bt, so I think that you installed drvers.
Another option could be that bt is damaged/not working.
