...broken up!? Me and my boyfriend got into an argument about how dating ones friends after a break up would be disrespectful and selfish. I believe it is very wrong especially because the only friends of mine he has met I have been best friends with since 2nd grade AND one that was my college roommate and still best friend. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year and living together. I am his second serious girlfriend (the one before me they only dated 3 months) and the first girlfriend he has ever said I love you to. He said that my belief of not dating ones friends after a breakup is like believing in abortion! He said that I do not own a person and why would I be opposed to letting something "blossom" between him and her. Umm..... True I don't own anyone BUT I do have loyal friends who would never do that to me in the first place but to know my boyfriend even considers it is very hurtful and is making me think I should break up with him.
