...project on? In my project, I have to talk about and compare Sunshine, Star Trek, Starship Troopers and War of the Worlds.
My question can be based on anything associated with Sci Fi, politics, global warming theories, technology behind it, how it evolved over the years etc.

How about something comapring the portrayal of different races / ethnicities / gender in each of the films. Star Trek was based on the premise that every race gets along in the future, is that more believable now than in the 50's? What do more modern films like the other 3 have to offer on the subject.

Or what are the differences in team dynamics shown in Trek, Sunshine or Starship Troopers and which seems the most accurate and why.

Or, how does the politics of the time affect the theme of the movie? Trek and War of the Worlds have been made pre and post 9/11. Would the neo-nazi theme of Starship Troopers have been acceptable 40 years earlier?
