Can I buy a regular cell phone but use those pay-as-u-go packages? from rogers...?

I mean regular cell phone as in on no contract/term and then use a pay-as-u-go package/plan/card for it or do i have to buy those pay-as-u-go phones....

For ex: if i buy this phone from Rogers...
