Can I connect a free view tv to the cable upstairs and get free view channels?

Freeview signals comes from your local TV transmitter to your TV Aerial. They use totally different frequencies and connections. You won't pick up a single thing. You'd be aswell getting a freesat box from Maplin's or Argos. You can buy them from around £50-60
