Can I connect my PS3 controller to the bluetooth in my laptop?

I've seen that it's possible to use a bluetoothe dongle to connect a PS3 controller to a PC, but my laptop has bluetooth already. Unfortunately my laptop doesn't seem to recognize the controller when I turn it on. Is there a step I'm missing?
 
You need to install the ps3 remote driver called MotionInJoy on your laptop and follow the steps here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUVQGWLmuwI the download link is in the vid description
then plug in your the ps3 remote into your computer it should work now then unplug it
