first off, your BMR is just the number of calories your body needs to keep your organs running, it does not include your daily activites, which can account for 100-1000 more calories dependsing on your activity level.
that said, if you eat the same amoutn of calories you burn in a day you WILL maintain your wieght. however, living on a diet of fast food alone, you will incur other health problems like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, etc. so it is not an adequate diet

weight and stay healthy? I am 5'7 135 lbs and my bmr is around 1600 calories more or less. If I eat roughly 800 calories for lunch and dinner at a fast food place and maintain my bmr, is that an adequate diet or does any fast food store extra fat and pounds to make me gain weight?

I don't recommend fast food or restaurant food in general as it's usually too greasy or comes with other health hazards. But, some people seem to thrive on it. It's all in the state of mind.

well u might not gain weight but in ur arteries all that fat will store and clot them so sooner u'll become sick so i won't say it is healthy thing to do
