can i hook up my blue-ray dvd player up to my computer with a HDMI cord?

i have the Samsung BD-C6500 Blu-ray Disc Player - BD-C6500/XAA and i was wondering if i could just take a HDMI cord and put it in my blue ray dvd player and the other into my computer so i can see what im doing on my computer. i know i could do this with my tv, but my tv doesnt have a HDMI spot to plug the cord in. So if i can my computer with my blueray, how do i do this?

It's not possible. If your computer does have a HDMI output...well, it only OUTputs data as well as your Blu-ray Player. My suggestion to you would be to get a VGA to RCA (Yellow, White and Red plugs) Cable so you can plug in the VGA side to your PC and the RCA to your TV or get this HDMI to RCA...it would go from your PC HDMI to your TV RCA...

Almost all HDMI on computers is for video out. You can put HDMI to your LCD if your computer monitor can take it but since your blu-ray player is HDCP there's just almost no way of doing it.
