Can i put a supercharger off a gmc motor onto my ford mustang?

I have a 3.8 v6 mustang and I've heard rumors of people putting gmc superchargers on their v6 mustangs. If this is possible what would the charger have to be off ? a grand prix or buick regal. And if this is possible could you go into great detail of how to do it.
