...sound to my HDTV? I have an LG LCD HDTV, and I was wondering if I could bypass having to buy the Surround Sound system and just use my hdmi dvd player as a receiver and connect speakers to it. If this is the case, could I watch regular cable t.v while using the set up I mentioned before? What would be the difference between the dvd player I have, and the surround sound system ones?
