Can I use an lcd from a motorola q 9m (gsm) phone in a q 9c (cdma) phone?

I have a Sprint Moto q 9c and it has water damage. The phone itself works, but the lcd display doesn't light up anymore. I saw a replacement display on ebay, but it's for the gsm moto q9's. Does anyone know if it's the same lcd and can I use it to replace the one in my sprint phone?
