can my motorola 2210 modem connect to my wii?

i have a belkin router and i have a motorola 2210 modem from at&t (i have the basic package)

when its connected to the wii it deosnt look for my modem??

should i get a wii lan adapter??
will it work with my modem??

please help im really want my wii connected online!!!
 
You're modem is fine. The Wii connects to your router, not your modem. Do you have a wireless router?
