Can people see what pages I have gone on, home network internet connection?

Hi I was wondering if my other family members can see what I have been looking up on google, youtube etc.
Becuase I tried to go on gamershell and download a game and this came up

"Web Site Blocked by NETGEAR Firewall"
Am I being watched and someone blocked this site or is this just the thing of the router?

I don't think we have a admin, we all just run off it.
And if I am being watched is there anyway I can avoid this and still access the internet without losing speed?

Many home/small-office routers have something called a "blacklist". This is a list of websites or keywords that are blocked by whomever is running the router a.k.a. an administrator, or admin. I'm guessing that this is probably one of your parents.

You may be able to access the web graphical user interface of your router by connecting to your home network and browsing to your router's internal IP address. Probably something like 192.168.1.1
If that's not the correct IP, open comman prompt and use the following command:

ipconfig

The "Default Gateway" address is the router's internal IP. However, chances are that if some one set up a blacklist, they probably changed the log in credentials. Otherwise, you can Google the make and model of your router (found on the router's label) to find out the default username and password. LinkSys routers usually have no default username and a password of: admin

If it is protected with another password, you may be able to find other solutions. Restoring factory defaults may work, but will be noticed by who ever is running the router. It might get you a day or two of unrestricted access, but using this method too often will become suspicious.

Before attempting to reset or attempting to use a hack/mod to gain root level access to your router, make sure you familiarize yourself with all the inner workings of the device. You can utilize the manufacturer's website for this.

Also, do your research from a computer at school or the library or somewhere where your parents can't track what your looking up.
