Basically I want to know which route I would have the better shot at being an Air Force Pilot, the civilian route or the enlisted route.

The civilian route- I will work a normal job and try and obtain as much experience flying on the side, i.e. my days off. I would probably apply for a pilot spot in the Air Force in my later twenties (22 right now).
The enlisted route- Try and become an aircrew member such as loadmaster or in-flight refueler. Start as e3 and try and make as many connections slash gain any flying experience as well. I looked up the average number of flying hours for current candidates applying and it was around 180, fyi. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it very much!

neither will get you where you want to go.

You have to be a commissioned officer to be a pilot.

Which means you need a college degree.

Flight experience is nice, but it it is not a must have.

I am in the process of enlisting in the Air Force ( should swear in about the end of this month.) I have read a lot of different things about this subject.

Read that, I'm pretty sure that will help you decide which way to go.
In my story, it helped me figure out that I wasn't going to try to become a pilot in the air force. You might have what it takes though.
