Can you recommend a good biography or memoir?

I need to read a biography or memoir. It has to be interesting, 'cause usually all the biographies/memoirs I read are pretty drab. Help please?

it is written in a different format than most and have a lot of things you can relate to


another great one that is in novel form is "this boys life" by tobias wolff

both are great
