First of all, there is no such this as a "blueray dvd player". Blu-Ray is not DVD - although it's similar because it uses discs that are the same size, but blu-ray is HD and DVD is not.

Second, if something is a *player* then it will only play, it will not record.

If you really want a blu-ray recorder, you can just buy one, like this one for instance:
