(Canadian) How can i make a Telus cellphone work with another company or by itself?

I live in Canada and i found a Samsung SCH-R500 (what a luck) by Telus on the street. I was wondering can i make it work with Rogers and how. If I can't is there any way to make it work with Telus itself and if yes, how??

There is no way to make it work on Rogers and if it was reported to TELUS as 'lost' or 'stolen' then it will never again work on the TELUS network. Just take it to a TELUS Store and they will find the owner by using the ESN and their database. It has no value to you.
