I really don't like dish. i have it because my husband wanted dish latino package and we have passed our 2 year contract and I want to cancel.
I already ordered direct tv they are installing tomorrow.
I'm just afraid that since dish has my debit card info they will charge me for any stupid thing.
I know i have to return all the receivers and that crap.
I believe that since i am way pass my contract, they shouldn't charge me anything right?
I'm going to make the call later and see how it goes. I already paid my last bill. I'm actually considering calling my bank to report a loss debit card so they won't sneak in a fee.

Lol I'm overthinking because I did a search online and found a lot of unhappy dish customers having canceling nightmares lol

Just got done talking to them and I believe I am not getting charged anything except for the $15 shipping thing. They said something about paying a month in advance for a bill and I just said I paid my last bill today. I just saw that bill was for service 1/20-2/19....so I just paid a month that I won't even use Oh my gosh that is not fair. But I'm not even going to fight for my money back I just want to be done.
They asked about why and tried to give me a better discount and wanted to know who I was switching over and I believe that is none of their business so I didn't tell them.
So now I have to wait for the boxes.
