The basics - some come with longer cables/wiring wile other come shorter.
Some come with really thick wire/cable if they are used for a larger power amp and some come with smaller gauge wiring..
Example - you don't want to be running 12 ga at 3,000 watts
With 4 ga runs well with 1000 watts
no they r rated according to what you r installing the higher the amperage the lower the guage of your wire lets say u got a thousand what amp the best guage . the lower the number for the guag of wirer the better k 0 to 4 is recommended for 1800 to 1000 watts hope this helps ]
The lower the number the gauge wire, the better it is. But, you want to make sure you're buying OFC wire ... Oxygen Free Copper. And not something like ACC ... Aluminum Clad Copper. or some other BS. Stick with reputable names like Tsunami and you'll be fine.
buy an over sized wiring kit and a distribution block and down size the wire from the block to the amp no longer than a foot.so if you decide to upgrade your system in the future you don't have to change the wiring off the battery, and you will have a place to pick up a power source if in need of a second.hope this helps.
