I have 2 12' pioneer subs hooked up to a 400w dual amp. I had them bridged and hooked up to a torgo switch. All of a sudden they stopped hitting hard and hit a little and started making a static noise every time they hit. Can anyone help?
ok
1 are ur lines '' rca '' lines ok not damaged ? if their ok continue down
2 those 400w amps from walmart especially the brand Dual are very finicky they do break every onece and a whyle check ur amp is ur amp ok ?
to test ur amp try other speakers on it if it sounds ok continue down
3 sounds like a subwoofer problem to me honestly those toggle switches also suck for subwoofer uses try not using that toggle switch then playing ur music .what happens is the flickering that the amp
or '' wave sound '' go's through the switch it may cause a distortion i have done this one time i just dont use a switch anymore on the subwoofers
4 check the temp on the amp how hot does it get if u cant hold it in ur hands u should not use it anymore
5 solution if it is non of the above look back at all the wiring
