...clearly/consistently taught by Christ and others? Yes, there are some scriptures that point to the Trinity (Father/Son/Holy Ghost all one being) such as John 1:1 and John 10:30 (although the second one is suspect at truly pointing towards a Trinity) among others. Then there are many more that point towards physically separate beings such as Ephesians 1:17 & 20 (Two beings and one resurrecting the other), Matt 3:16-17 (three separate beings; one speaking, one in the form of a dove, and one physical body being baptized), and Matt 16:16 (why didn't Jesus respond to this by saying something like, "Right, and I am not only the Son, but I am also the living god himself - the father" instead of just saying "right"?).
So, the question is there, why wasn't it more clearly/consistently taught by Jesus and other disciples?
